Star in the restaurant is FABULOUS! The food is good. If there is ever an issue star is right there to take care of the issue.
Was invited to VIP dinner party, great food great service, drinks and dessert.employees were very friendly and helpful! Rooms are comfortable but outdated, But did there job well enough! The casino was very good to us on this trip, we really enjoyed ourselves this trip. I do recommend this venue. Thank you for the hospitality that we received.
Maybe all the ppl who lost bad are the only ones leaving reviews. Everybody around me was winning, and i had a great time. I can honestly say this is one of the top 3 boats I been too. My only complaint is no shots, the drinks have to be mixed. But they do have Stella an other imported beer.
I didnt feel well but dudnt want to make my friends leave early, so I went to lay down and take nap in the car in the middle of the night, and a worker from the hotel knocked on my windows to tel me I couldnt sleep in the car in their parking lot. He said I had to sit up and keep my head up so I appeared to be awake. I cojldnt believe that they would tell you that you couldn't lay down in the backseat of your own car. Weirdest thing I've ever heard. Other than that, the casino is small and accommodating and has that small town and small business feel to it. Very personable and kind staff.
I had a great time! The casino was not overly crowded, the people were really friendly. The slots were some of the best I've played! I played on 5 different slots over a period of 2½hrs and did well on each one. They let you play and enjoy the experience. Best part was I left with more money than I came with! All around good experience and looking forward to going back.
RV Park Review. I have stayed at many Casino "RV Parks" and have found that the Lakeside Casino exceeds them all. Seemingly in the middle of nowhere in Iowa, we were not expecting much but found a modern FHU park with large, level, pull thru asphalt sites and an easy to navigate road. All for $45. It was 25 degrees and windy so we did not venture to the Casino. Also it's right next to a Pilot station with RV Lanes.
Had a good time casino was pretty good and I we won money "always a good time " the only complaint is Not enough food options and the one restaurant they do have closes early hotel rooms not bad but bed not the most comfortable but had a great time with the hubby
We always stop when driving through, enjoy the room and the casino. Really never have done very well gambling but that's how it goes. We spend plenty of money and usually get enough for a free burger or something. The only complaint I have is the bar (Brenda) we asked the question what we can all get with our coupon. Her response was everyone wants everything for free ! Believe me it wasn't free ! And we didn't deserve a rude response like that. She must of had a bad day and took it out on us.
